Membuat Custom Domain Xampp pada Project Laravel Kita

Jika biasanya untuk mengakses project laravel kita harus mengetikkan "localhost:8000" pada browser, maka dengan mengubah default domain xampp kita dapat memiliki custom domain yang lebih keren ketimbang harus mengetikkan "localhost:8000".
Secara default nama domain di xampp adalah "localhost", tentu anda semua tidak asing dengan kata itu. Namun kita bisa mengubah default domain tersebut dengan nama domain lain sesuka hati kita.

Berikut langkah-langkah untuk mengubah default domain pada project laravel :

1. Buka folder xampp->apache->conf->extra (C:\xampp\apache\conf\extra), kemudian buka file httpd-vhosts.conf dengan notepad.

2. Kemudian  salin dan tambahkan kode dibawah pada file vhosts.conf. sebagai contoh saya akan mengganti default domain menjadi "intechgram.com"

Petunjuk :
 - gantilah tulisan berwarna merah dengan nama domain yang anda inginkan, nama domain bisa apa aja misal projecku.dev, koding.pro, dan lain-lain terserah anda.
 - Gantilah tulisan berwarna hijau dengan letak directory folder public pada project laravel anda

3. Kemudian save file

4. Selanjutnya buka directory "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" dan buka file hosts dengan notepad

5. Kemudian salin dan tambahkan tulisan berikut pada file hosts dan save.
127.0.0.1 intechgram.com (sesuaikan dengan nama domain anda)

6.  Buka xampp dan 'stop' apache nya sebentar kemudian 'start' kembali

7. Terakhir untuk mengecek apakah custom domain yang kita buat berhasil digunakan atau tidak, silahkan  coba akses nama domain yang melalui browser. Jika berhasil maka browser akan menampilkan welcome page dari laravel.
